To craft a Chop Chop Inc Battery, progress through the Corrupted Fields and Brother Lewis quest line until you receive the Electronics Press blueprint. Build the press with 20 Ingots and 8 Screws, then craft one Battery from 2 Electric Wood and 1 Ingot. Electric Wood alone does not unlock the recipe.
Why the Battery Recipe Is Missing
The Battery is progression-gated rather than a loose item hidden beside the Tech Bridge. Players can reach a point where the bridge asks for a Battery and Cable before they can craft the Battery. Continue the related quest chain instead of searching the bridge area for the finished item.
The collected material connects this progression with Corrupted Fields, Brother Lewis, and the Children of Jackpot objectives. Speak to the relevant quest contacts again after completing each required step. A recipe can remain absent even when its raw material is already in inventory.
Follow the Brother Lewis Quest Line
Advance the Corrupted Fields route until Brother Lewis directs the next repair work. The recorded sequence includes repairing broken chains with 16 Ingots. Return to Lewis after the repair rather than assuming the next blueprint appears automatically at a general workbench.
Speaking to Lewis again provides the Electronics Press blueprint in the supported walkthrough. This station is the key unlock for Battery production. The source does not support unrelated claims about merchant stock, random battery chests, or battery tiers.
Build the Electronics Press
The Electronics Press costs 20 Ingots and 8 Screws in the collected evidence. Gather and process those materials after receiving its blueprint, then build the station. Check the current in-game recipe panel before spending materials in case a game update changes the displayed requirement.
Do not confuse the Electronics Press with unsupported references to an “Electronics Workbench.” If Lewis is already restored but the Press is missing, finish the 16-Ingot chain repair and speak to Lewis again. The blueprint is awarded by that follow-up conversation.
Craft the Battery
Use the Electronics Press with 2 Electric Wood and 1 Ingot to craft a Battery. These are the supported ingredients and quantities. Claims involving copper, rubber, acid, multiple capacity tiers, or charging systems are not supported by the reliable collected sources and have been excluded.
If you have Electric Wood but cannot see the recipe, return to progression checks. Confirm that the chain repair is complete, Lewis has been contacted again, and the Electronics Press blueprint was received. Merely collecting glowing or unusual wood does not finish those steps.
Repair the Eternal Spinner
One Battery is used to repair the Eternal Spinner in the collected progression route. Completing this objective is separate from possessing the recipe. Prepare another Battery if the next active objective also requests one.
One source describes the machinery blueprint as a physical pickup beside the Eternal Spinner after Lewis is revived. This is consistent with the same quest chain rather than an alternative unlock: complete the Lewis and broken-chain steps, then inspect the Spinner area and finish Lewis's follow-up dialogue.
Repair the Tech Bridge
The Tech Bridge requires 1 Battery plus 1 Cable. The Battery is only one part of the repair, so arriving with it alone will not complete the bridge. The focused Battery walkthrough reports that the Cable can already be ordered before the Battery recipe unlocks.
Craft the Battery after the Electronics Press is available, then compare the bridge interaction with your inventory. Avoid consuming every Battery on another device if the bridge objective is active. The exact number needed across all progression objectives depends on which repairs you have completed.
Common Mistakes
Searching immediately around the Tech Bridge will not resolve the progression gate shown by the reliable route. Collecting Electric Wood without finishing the Lewis quest also leaves the Battery unavailable. Building general workshop stations does not substitute for the Electronics Press.
Ignore unverified tables describing Basic, Standard, High-Capacity, or Industrial Batteries. The supported evidence documents one Battery recipe and two immediate progression uses, not a tiered power system.
